Datawind launches cheap Android phones with free internet access for 1 Year

Datawind the company behind akash tablets has launched a set of new handsets with free internet powered by Reliance,Data wind has launched 2 new phones Pocket surfer 2G4, and Pocket surfer 3G4,and refreshed the Pocket surfer 3G5 handset,the details are specified below.



1)Pocket Surfer 2G4-This handset is priced around 1999 Rs,it has 2G connectivity,3.5″ screen,single,core 1ghz processor,it runs on Android 4.0 and features 256 mb ram,the phone supports dual sim,captive display and Memory expandable Upto 32gb.
2)Pocket surfer 3G4-This phone features a 4″ screen,800×480 dimension,5 mega pixel rear and VGA front camera,it has a single core 1.2ghz processor and runs on Android 4.4 ,with 256 mb ram,it supports 3G connectivity,priced at 2,999 Rs
3)Pocket surfer 3G5-This phone is similar to 3G4 ,with dual core 1ghz processor,3G connectivity ,Android 4.4 but has a bigger screen of 5″ ,3 megapixel rear camera and VGA front camera,priced at 5,499 Rs.
Data wind has partnered with Reliance to offer free internet to its users,It will pay to reliance ,the users will not be able to stream audio or video,and thankfully none of the websites are blocked,“Users can browse for free completely even if they do not have sufficient account balance. Reliance will charge us and not the customer for browsing. They can also access social media sites like Facebook for free,” said Tuli.
The phone will be available from 17th March at Naaptol tv,online shopping portals and Sangeetha Mobiles, Spice Hotspot retail and other retail stores.
